Re: Broken Speakers

Have you checked the connections inside the computer case to verify there are no loose connections? you can also check the settings for your sound whether on-board or sound card to verify they are correctly set. also check to make sure all drivers are up to date. sometimes, the drivers are not installed for the sound cards either and it will cause a problem with any accessories (such as speakers) when trying to use them.

My old speakers dont work with my new pc

there could be 3 problems A) the speakers are broken B) if its a new pc it probably has a sound card with 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound capabilities so you might have plugged it into the wrong port C) since it is now this probably isn't correct but your port could be broken
To see if its problem A simply get a new set of speakers and plug them in see if it works If its B then make sure its pluged in to the green input and it says "out" not side center or back if its C return the comp and get a new one
And btw make sure you check the port with the old one and the new one to make sure that even thought you plugged it into the right port it didn't work because it was broken

I dropped one of the speakers and now can't get audio. When I push power button, the light dowsn't come on the speaker. What to do?

I am afraid you may have broken the speaker when you dropped it. Usually the speakers are sealed and cannot be repaired. Maybe you should buy some new ones.

I am trying to connect my logitech x530 speakers to my computer but centre is not working correctly

If the speaker connection is in front, Maybe the front panel is audio is not working or not enabled on motherboard. Try with the back panel audio jack.

If you are sure that your speakers are right, there are following possible reasons that you are not getting the audio.
1) Volume is turned off/ low
2) Sound drivers not installed/ corrupted.

I can help you with the remote desktop assistance, if you allow.

I just bought logitech speakers and when i plugged them into the computer they started working then as soon as i restarted my computer that stopped working now no speakers or ear phones are workingg when i...

Its most likely a settings problem or drivers missing maybe?

Hardly any need to buy a new port for speakers, unless its really broken.

try the speakers on another pc if they work fine there then its a problem in your pc, sound settings or drivers.

Check device manager
right click my computer select manage.
on the left side select device manager

note any yellow ! marks on sound devices or unknown devices.

No sound in speakers

Sometimes the speaker internally disables itself when another audio device is connected (i.e. headphones or external speakers) and need to be reenabled from Control Panel. Try this.
