There are multiple ways to tweak your registry to turn it back. here are, maybe, the simple way.
1. copy follow code (between lines but not to include the lines) into your Notepad:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"DisableTaskMgr"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"DisableTaskMgr"==dword:000000000
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. save it, for example name it as "abc.txt"
3. rename "abc.txt" to "abc.reg". if you successful rename it. you will see the file icon changes to like a blue magic cube with a paper behind it.
4. double click your "abc.reg". you should get a pop up ask you " Are you sure you want to add the information in xyz(the file path)\abc.reg to the registry? " with Yes and No button. please click yes
5. click OK on this information pop up. You should be all set.

I have tried several times to do this but to no avail. I have pop-up bocker turned off..and still do not get that pop-up prompt.
When I change the name ...no blue cube.
Maybe I'm copying the info text wrong!
I copied the info (user & machine) together with spaces in between...nothing, I've tried to copy them seperately but they wont go to the note pad...are both texts supposed to run together as one line?
