Problem for Sanyo DS31520 31" TV

Tv has no picture

My sanyo 31" tv will not show a picture. When I turn it on I see nothing but static. When I turn it to video it works fine. So I'm able to watch dvds but not cable. I have checked the cable in two differnt rooms and it does the same thing. The other tv works fine on these cable outlets. If you have any information I would appreciate it. Thanks

- I have no kids and tv was on then went to static. Picture was fine. It was working fine for about a week. Got tv from inlaws who said it was working fine. only items plugged in were audio video and cable. Thanks

sounds like a antenna block problem or a tuner?? Now Im wondering if this set has mutiple antenna inputs?? if it does then the antenna input switch is on the wrong mode.

- sounds like a bad tuner bud. sorry bUT just because the cables working in the other rooms dont assume that alls good with the cable as could be as simple as a bad spitter or connector.. place another set right next to the bad one and see if it works?? if it does then you know for sure.

- like I said then its most likly a bad tuner in the set. dosent this set have a video input?? as I got a set 4 years ago that had a bad tuner but had a great picture on it and I simply used a video input from a cable box and this set is still working good today!! Good Luck!

Do you have kids? is the tv low enough they can push buttons?
