If the motor turns by hand, but the breaker is tripping does not preclude a bad motor. Could be nothing more than a capacitor on the motor itself. If the breaker you speak of is on the unit itself, could be bad. If it is in the electric panel, motor capacitor is the first place to look.

hi mate its either a fitting off the tank and it is just pumping air into the tank and out the hole or its the mpv valve this stops air in the tank bleeding back to the pump so when the pressure drops it can start other wise it wud not start as the piston is not possible to go up this is why when the compressor stops it bleeds off air in the system but to be honest i need more information to figure out what it could be e.g is it on pump unit or on tank etc

The brass fitting that goes into my DD2T2 seems to have a hole in it and it looks impossible to remove without ruining a major gasket due to the close tolerance in replacing the fitting. Am I missing something?
