Zero Cross Signal Malfunction.
Fusing/Hot roller temperature does not increase.
The fuser rollers need to be inspected.

You will have to replace the fuser rollers to clear the error code or replace the thermistor.

Ricoh afico 811 error sc689 and sc547

sc547 is a power supply error that can mean you have a faulty power supply. The service manual does not list an sc689, and it's not in the help desk support database either... are you sure that's the code that comes on the screen?

Eror sc547

The error sc 547 refers to a "Zero cross signal malfunction".

This means that the applied power supply AC frequency was detected at over 66Hz or below 45Hz, and the zero cross signals are not detected within a certain period within 500 ms after the main power switch has been turned on.

Possible causes are:
- Power supply board defective
- IOCSS defective
- BICU defective

Try to reset the SC code by entering SP5810 and select 1.
Then hold down the photo mode key and the # key at the same time for at least 3 second.
Then turn the machine off and on again.
If the same issue still appears, try to replace the Power Supply Unit.

SC547

Press clear modes, 1, 0, 7, and press and hold the clear/stop key. Enter copy sp. Select mode (5), and scroll to 5810 if it exists, and execute. exit back to the copy sp screen. Press data log (7), and scroll to 7807, and execure. Exit all the way back out to the SC547 screen. Turn the power switch off and on. Not the button on the control panel, but the actual switch. If it comes to ready, great, if not, there is somethong wrong with the fuser.
