U have not mentioned that what have u experienced with other media players like Win Media Player, if that works fine, u have to reinstall the Toshiba DVD player software from the official website of toshiba by following the link below; http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU Hope this will solve the problem.
Couldn't find that specific error code anywhere. However to give more information try this. Try to burn a CD, when you get the error code go to:
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer then Services and Applications. See if you get an "error" on a particular application you should as the event viewer documents everything that goes on in the system. Let me know what application or file is causing the error..standying by.
check your driver if it is compatible to the Dvd that you want to write or copy?
but if it is comaptible and still you cant access on it try to check of the DVD driver maybe some cort of loosing only in wirings.
