Are you trying to burn from a specific program? From the looks of the error I would suspect Adobe Premier. Do you know which Operating System you use (Vista, XP)?

Good to hear, just an FYI the newest Realtek driver does have some issues with recording sound and for some reason playing Call of Duty 3. Just 2 little bugs I thought I would let you know about ahead of time.

Hi there,
We Wish You a Happy New year.
Step 1: This might be because of external devices or non-bootable CD or DVD in the CD/DVD drive. Remove all the external devices (including pen drive/flash drive/CD or DVD disc) connected to your computer and then check for the issue.

Step 2: It might also happen if system is unable to find any bootable device.
Try restoring default setting in BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) and check. Also please check for the boot priority. For this you have you to contact the system manufacturer.

Iam not getting power to my dvd rw

Please describe your DVD-RW if it is internal or external? External means that it is enclosed in a separate 5.25" HDD/DVD-RW enclosure.
If it is internal, check for a worn-out power cable on the ATX PSU. If it is external, check for the proper voltage output of your enclosure power supply by a voltmeter/tester. Ask assistance from an electronic technician or anyone who is knowledgeable enough to use the said tester.

Toshiba Satellite P200

Couldn't find that specific error code anywhere. However to give more information try this. Try to burn a CD, when you get the error code go to:
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer then Services and Applications. See if you get an "error" on a particular application you should as the event viewer documents everything that goes on in the system. Let me know what application or file is causing the error..standying by.

It sounds like the DVD player software is defaulting to an external monitor connection for the DVD video output. Try installing a different player or reinstalling/reconfiguring the one provided.

Have you initialised the disk? The manual states that for the first use a DVD-RW has to be initialised first.

Audio problem by DVD Play

You need to check to see if the dvd drive is set to digital playback because
it is probably trying to find your on board AC97 - 5.1 digital output. With
a music CD it doesn't have to be connected digitially because it uses analog
for stereo playback but most DVD's - if a movie - are set to playback in
digital. Open 'My Computer', right click on your DVD drive, select
properties, select hardware, highlight your DVD drive, click on properties,
then properties again, check- Enable digital CD audio for this CD-ROM
device.
