Hi i dropped my razr and now the keypad is frozen. it turns on but all i get is a humming noise and none of the keypads work. the screen and everything else works please help. i need to egt a phone number out of my address book

Hi,What causes the phone the screen of the phone to go black and the keypad light not coming on, is because the flex of the phone that is connected to the screen and allows the keypad to function is bad and will need to be replaced .When you replace the flex,the phone will work properly again.

Hi, your phone did not really seize, it is the keypad and it is connected to the screen of the phone and it's makes the screen display.

It is faulty and it needs to be replaced. it also controls the keypad operation.

When you change it, it will work out fine.

SURGICAL - you need to replaced the mobile flexcable in the phone also have the repair center flash the keypad flexfile back into the phone.

BRENNA - replaced the flexcable

VGETSON - you need to flash a file call keypad flex into the phone to correct the keypad freezing up on you.

You need to replace your keypad. Frequent use deteriorates the interfacing connections.

choke it 24 with alcohol then put it under light bulb 1 minute then leave it for one day then try reconnect it , make you remove the board and the lcd screen

try a new battery if still can't swtch on then your flex is faulty need to be replaced by a cell thech.

Hi, You don't need 2 flash your razr for this problem. What u need is a screen flex cable. The three buttons around the screen are controlled by a flex cable and the voice recorder is connected on this flex cable.This needs replacing but it's very tricky to deal with. I suggest a really good tech that deals with razr's to handle this problem to possibly replace the flex cable. This would solve yor frozen keypad problem. SAM !
