Windows installer will not work i've been thru everything reinstalling .reregester and all the other hoops what gives? i can't reinstall a corrupt cd/ram driver untill this is fixed.

Look around the C:\>program files and find all the folders related to mywinlocker. Thereafter, you've to reinstall mywinlocker as it's already installed but couldn't able to start your program due to of installing reinstalling Windows.
LOL, not surprising, I've seen Recoverys not work lots of times. Your only option now is to reinstall windows. You can try doing a Repair Install which will save your data, documents, music, pictures, videos and programs. But since you were trying to do a Recovery which wipes out everything, you might as well do a Fresh Install which wipes out everything.
Sounds like the installation of Opera is corrupt.
If you saved the installation file, reinstall it. If not, go to their site and download the latest version and install that one.
If it tells you there is already a version installed, it may ask if you want to uninstall it. You do.
If it has a problem installing, you may need to uninstall it thru Control Panel>Add Remove Programs if Win XP. If Vista, the place is Programs ....
