Same problem with my Amana ACS3350. Looks like the door latch (housed in the front panel) isn't springing closed. I also get an error code when I try to run the self-clean cycle. It flashes 'door' in the display, then 'ERR F9' in the display, and beeps until I shut the power off. Any suggestions for repairing the latch? Same problem with my Amana ACS3350. Could be a malfunction in the lock mechanism, But if this is a newer oven or first time cleaning, the oven door seal may be holding the door out just far enough to keep the lock mechanism from engaging. Try pushing in a bit on the top of the door to compress the seal a bit
and then try setting it to lock while holding pressure on the top of
the door. If this works remember you may need to press in on it again
to get it to unlock after it cools.
Also check that the lock lever actually springs out to grab the door and that the hole in the door is aligned properly to receive the lock lever. I would think that you could test this with the oven door open.

Unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
Hello there and welcome to Fixya This is a fairly common problem with self cleaning ovens The
problem normally is that the user has interrupted the clean cycle and
the door is locked by default or the door lock assy has failed all
together . Now here is the thing these ovens have a built in memory
module that stores a number of commands that the user has input in it
like self clean or broil ect.ect so what you will have to do is to
clear the memory and it is done like this. First unplug the oven and do not touch it leave it sit for a minimum of 1 hour this will reset the memory module Now
only after the hour is up plug in the oven and you may hear a beep ora
click if so great wait a few min then you can press the cancel button
then try to open the door again.
To close an oven door when it's in the locked position andthe door is open, press and hold the oven door light switch while followingthese simple steps:
Program the oven to self-clean.
Wait 20 seconds.
Cancel self-clean.
Wait 20 seconds.
To self-clean your wall oven, follow these simple steps:
Remove the oven racks.
Set your oven control to "Clean."
Select a cleaning time or choose a cleaning level: light, medium or heavy. For typical cleaning needs, we recommend that you select a cleaning time of three hours or choose the medium setting.
Select "Start." (To set a delayed start, see your Use & Care Guide.)
Note: For safety reasons, the oven door will remain locked until the oven coolsdown. When it is sufficiently cool, the door will automatically unlock
Thanks for using fixya.
If the lock does not open after the oven has cooled down, then try this: First, unplug the range or shut off the circuit breaker for ten minutes. Plug the range back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and try moving the door lock lever or opening the door. Next, set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for twenty minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever or opening the door
