Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have a 4 year old Toshiba ZP38 36" screen. Over the last few days whenever i turn on the set the screen has no picture and is only showing a mixture of pixels/coloured blocks. The sound is perfect. When the picture sorts itself out (after about 10mins) the colours on the screen are all warped. What is the problem? Will it be expensive to repair? Should I just get a new set?

Hi! My toshiba 2100td tv is over 10 years old and last few years it's having weird problems. When it's turned completely off (not in standby) and when I turn it on, the screen blinks for a 10-

The real problem here is its age, a lot of these sets of that age critically needed parts are just no longer available.

I repair them but the real risk is someone fixed it, a few months later it develops another problem etc etc etc.

Ten years is now a days a long life for a TV.

HP Pavilion g series g7 black screen but occasion flicker shows it is up and running.

Hook a spare monitor to the video output usually on the back, if picture is okay! the problem lies in the inverter board, "just below the screen" or the backlight behind the LCD display, or the video cable from the screen to the motherboard has come loose from the plugin. But if both show the same symptom it means the Video Graphics Card is defective, normally built into the motherboard.

This is to inform that I am having Casio Digital Camera Exilim EX-Z500 for last few years. The same was giving very good pictures, but last week, it suddenly started malfunctioning. Whenever, we took...

Some things to try: 1. Go into the menu and find "reset" to return to factory default settings. 2. Check the ISO setting....you may have it set too high for outdoor pictures. 3. Check the "exposure compensation"...it should be at "0".

Toshiba regza 32hl67 losing its' picture and motion is slow

I have a toshiba regza 32hl67 LCD tv which is only 2 1/2 years old. The picture on this unit just started to go the other day (screen darkens but images are still visible and the motion/movement is very slow). I contacted Toshiba and they just said to unplug the tv for 3 minutes to reset the tv. This doesnt work. I am VERY upset with Toshiba, after paying $800 for a tv that only lasted 2 1/2 years. If anyone has had similar issues and know how to fix it, please let me know. Thanks
