This is a feed back problem, normally more common on a notebook, where the onboard mic is enabled and the external mike is on also, turn one or the other off, either that or one or the other of you has the volume too high

Tip

To check how much time you spend on your computer.......

How much time is passed...

Well it happens always , we sit on computer and after sometime when we look at the clock we see that Oh, my god !!!!! so much time has passed. but we don't know exactly how much. So, here is a very small tool which you will create by yourself .

Just copy the below lines in notepad:

  • @echo.
  • @systeminfo | @find "System Up Time:"
  • @echo.
  • @pause

Now save this file with the name Khacker.bat on your desktop.

Now whenever you want to check how much time has passed after you last started your computer , just double click on the file uptime.bat and you will get the exact time for how long your computer is up.

I cannot find the "video and voice set up" in yahoo messenger that's why i cannot use my cyberlinkyoucam as my webcam

Yahoo! Messenger offers voice services, such as PC-to-PC, PC-to-cell or PC-to-landline calling. You can also participate in chat rooms and use the voice chat feature instead of typing. However, slow connection speeds or improper settings can interfere with voice activation in Yahoo! Messenger.

Instructions
  1. Step 1 Reduce echoes by using a headset instead of speakers and a microphone. Place the microphone farther away from the speakers, if possible. Adjust the volume of the speakers and the microphone.
  2. Step 2 Verify your Internet connection speed if your friend's voice sounds choppy. The computer modem speed must be 56K or higher in order to send voices or sounds.
  3. Step 3 Go to "Actions" and "Call Setup" in Yahoo! Messenger if you can't hear, or your friend can't hear you. Test the sound by following the instructions that proceed call setup.
  4. Step 4 Click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your computer screen if you want to test the sound manually. Uncheck "Mute," if necessary, and make sure sound levels are above 50 percent.
  5. Step 5 Pick "Preferences" in Yahoo! Messenger if you have trouble with connecting to the voice server. Choose "Connection," then select "No Proxies." Log in to Messenger again to check the voice server.

I have a Hp media center m7067c Photosmart PC. desktop. whenever I click on the media center tab and go into that area. I keep getting messages that messenger is not signed in and then it files a crash...

ok..let us isolate these two issues..

first..what messenger are you using..try it by itself..first..if that works, then go to next level.

media center has a settings panel..that is where the messenger settings are located..but do not work with those until you know that the messenger is working first.

I bought new speakers and they echo really badly. Also, I bought a new pair of headphnes/mic and maybe I should have read the box but for some reason its like the mic broadcasts ALL the time..as in like i...

hi,
double click your volume control in the system tray, click options/click properties/ the checkbox box opens, study in here, microphone should be checked now playback screen check microphone should be checked , exit out by click outside the box , double click vol control again, the microphone lever should be visible, adjust , also maybe youll have an advanced button show up under there, click it and an extra gain control button may show up , try clicking or unclicking it and see what that does,
You may have a secondary audio program running in the system tray, which has echo and surround options my emachine came with that and I just disabled it in msconfig, I just use the standard windows drivers and volume, write me back if you need a msconfig walk through or that didnt get it. msconfig- Its not for the faint of heart.
