Do you have a glue I can fix a crack in fiberglass

Yes there are glues and sealers that will repair fibreglass though for an effective repair the crack should be ground out to a vee and a hole drilled at each end in the normal way.

If the area to be repaired is not stressed and the crack is small impact damage a reasonable temporary repair after preparation could be made with a structural polyurethane adhesive sealer, similar to that used for bonding windscreens.

If the crack is stressed it must be properly prepared and filled with fibreglass repair paste and then reinforced with layers of random mat and resin and finally woven mat for a reasonable finish.

Maytag refrigerator does not have ice maker ability, get regular water puddling on floor year around. Try to vacuum back of refrigerator and under front as well. Any suggestions to fix the problem?

Hello;
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

You have a older unit, which is OK.

The problem is you have a leak in your drain pan. In this case your drain pan pretty much covers the entire bottom of your unit. This pan is not longer available. Just as well, you would have to raise the entire refrigerator to replace.

Ok, Lets fix your problem:

Beneath the refrigerator it a drain cap (No longer available). It looks like a small rubber plug with a hole through it. You do not have a drain tube.
Remove the front toe plate. This is one screw on each side holding it on.
You have two leveling screws in the front. One on each side. Turn them counter clockwise to raise. Now, pull the unit out so you can get behind it.
Unplug your unit.
Remove the bottom back cover, there are several screws holding it on.
Observe. Can you locate the drain plug? Going from front to back of your unit, can you located the crack in the drain pan?

Here are you options:
1.) You can take flexible plastic tubing and run a line to the side of your refrigerator to a water collection pan. Us a high temperature silicone adhesive to secure the tubing in the drain plug. We are back to the old days where you had to physically empty the drain pan. Remember, your refrigerator will go through a defrost cycle every 8-10 hours.
2.) Search and locate the drain pan crack. Drain pans are plastic and over time will dry out and crack do to the unit bottom heat.

If I were to come to your home on a service call in this situation, I would locate the crack. Then, I would take duct tape over the crack and around the crack. Afterwards, I would take a high temperature silicone adhesive and smear it all over the duct tap and beyond.

Let me know how you made out. I am always interested in how much I have helped someone.

If you call a service company, you are either going to get a technician that is going to tell you the part is no longer available, charge you $75.00 and walk out, or you are going to get a technician like me, who will do a make shift repair and charge you $220.00.

Leaking clear water

Mine did the same thing. I took off the bottome cover (you'll need a tamper-proof hex key) The seam on the bottom of the carafe warmer where the water passes though to heat up to make the coffee had a slight hair-line crack. I tried to order part from Delonghi but they said they wouldn't sell it to me because I was not an authorized dealer. (mumbling) I went to a hardware store and bouth a 2-step adhesive. (you need to make certain that it is heat resistant. (mine was 250f) I applied it according to directions and let it cure for 24 hours. Try to force some of the adhesive into the crack.. It has not leaked in over 30 uses. I checked it and found no deterioration of the adhesive so far. Good luck.

The plastic lid in our kenmore chest freezer model # 2538195681 has cracked and broken. Is this a repairable or replaceable item?

You can try to repair it. Dry it off and apply some good plastic tape, if it frosts up then you will need to replace it. Hope this was helpful.

Wrong floor tile adhesive used. Contractor used timber floor adhesive instead of concrete. Some tiles cracking and adhesive not drying?

it depends on what kind of tiles they were. If they were soft tile, then they may crack anyway if the floor is not level, also if he made the floor uneven by using the adhesive they can crack. Many soft tiles are peel and stick and no adhesive is needed. If they were hard stone tiles then he should have been using grout to stick them down and grout the cracks in between as well. It sounds like you need to have someone else come in and re-access the problem as I can't see the whole situation, but it sounds like the tiles may need to come back up. You can either get the same guy to come back and fix his mistake or get some one else to fix it then go after him to messing it up. If you want to choose another person I recommend looking at www.superpages.com.

The back cover of my monitor is cracked.

Usually most adhesives will NOT repair this. One could glue on a sheet of material to cover and support the crack, but that is not very practical. The best plan is to replace the cover. Either get new part from HP or find a cover being "parted" out as a lot are on eBay.
