Make sure that the sound setting in the menu are NOT set on SAP. The sound should be set on stereo. Use the mitsubishi remote to pull up the menu then go to the audio portion and look for that setting. If you need more help or it is set on stereo let me know and we can go further.

Error message on screen that says PO 1.15 V100

The error is likely to be from the satellite as the set model listed does not have that kind of error.

The screen goes black. On every channel. Sound is perfect. Is the TV dead

Ok---let me describe something and you tell me if your case: Set comes on and has audio--after 2-5 minutes if you look closely at the screen do you see a odd and faint band of noise top to bottom and to the right of the center of the screen?

It takes a couple minutes and will be faint and easy to miss.

Let me know what you see.

No colour, contrast or volume memory. Channel memory OK, have fitted new battery.

Sounds like the eprom! I don,t have that manual in front of me but if it has a 8 pin eprom, try this, remove it and see if your settings are available and operational,( the ones in question) if they are then it is defective.

try leaving the set unplugged for several hours, this will reset it to factory settings. If this does not work you need service.

The volume goes down ,then it cycles automatically through channels

sounds like your volume down on set is stuck in down postion... press it to see... listen for faint clicking noise that means its ok... and your problem could be remote button stuck... any button on set or last Microprocessor went bad.

Hooking up a tv

Hi first of all are you using scart leads to plug into each device here is how it should be set up ok
1. Scart lead from dish network into vcr
2. then other scart from vcr into tv
3. Now ti recieve the signal from the dish network you need to have the telly on the right av channel so that its picking up the signal from the vcr.
you can test this by changing the channel on the vcr controll or direct via buttons on vcr.
If the channels change then your on the right av channel.
Now when your on right channel on telly you need to now make sure dish network is on and on a channel or press the tv guide button just so you know what your looking for when the picture comes through.
You need to press av on the vcr controll this will then pick up the signal from the dish network via the scart lead as av is the channel for scart lead.
say if you was recording from dish net to vcr you would put the vcr on av to pick up the signal so press av on vcr controll this should then allow you to watch the dish network with no problems.
Let me know if you still cant and ill assist you further if it dont work tell me what you have done so i know how much you have done ok

2 problems- 1-gasket is hanging loose on top of protection screen. 2- TV goes blank and I lose the picture and sound only on some channels at 9:00pm every night

unscrew the screws along the sides and top at back. gently lower screen forward and look inside--you should see the gasket--reattach it or remove it...I just removed it after staring at it for a year or more
