My blackberry has crashed

My blackberry curve has crashed 3 times. It has'nt sustained any water or drops. It takes anywhere from 2 to 4weeks then it displays "app error 523" and it says"reset" below that. It does'nt reset. Most of the time my caller ID did'nt work and the last 3 days before it crashed this time it kept loosing power faster than normal. Has anybody had this problem, I'm starting to feel cursed with this phone

after 1month and 2 days since having my phone the same message appears and i can't do anything to reset it

I've done the soft reset (pulling battery out) & the so called "hard reset" (hold power button for 30 secs, with battery out). Nothing works. My 8310 won't come back on. I know my problem was caused by me installing the "Today Plus" theme, but I can't even uninstall it from the Desktop Manager. Does anyone have a solution for this problem that so many of us are having?

First, download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.

Dropped blackberry in water. some keys dont work

Take out the battery, card and SIM and let it dry for one day, after that check, in case the keys still do not work, you need to get it checked in repair center.

My blackberry curve wont load, it wont go passes the screen with the little hourglass

Hi there!

It's possible that a quick power cycle might help you.

Take the battery out of the device, press the power button 10 times and on the 10th time, hold it down for 10 seconds. This will drain all remaining power that still exists in the Blackberry.

Place the battery back in and attempt to boot the device to its normal state.

Was the device damaged in anyway that might cause this problem? If dropped in water or dropped on the ground from a notable height, you should definitely have a technician take a look at it. You can find a technician at one of your service provider's device support centers. Or, if you don't want to have to go anywhere to troubleshoot, you can contact Blackberry Support on a different phone and they should be able to help you.

Also, if you have a warranty plan, this would be cause to utilize it.

I hope this helps! Feel free to reply if you have any further questions.
