sounds like a connection from a ribbon cable or connector that connects the LCD to the curcuitry. Best this is twist or tap on side of camera to see if it changes and if it does and you feel comfortable taking apart tiny electronics lke this Go for it clean the connector(s) running from the LCD BUT I warn you if your not expereanced to do this I would contact the manufacturer as most companys have flat rates on most repairs.

my cameras LCD screen was all white, sometimes horizontal lines would appear..thats all..it still took pictures but i could only see them on the computer. if you take it apart and cleaning it doesnt work, a friend found a foam like piece that had fallen from somewhere in the camera and was making a wire short out. after he removed it and put the camera back together it worked fine.
