The shutdown on your tv is because there is a component shorted out; maybe the flyback, the ic regulator,a diode or the horizontal transistor, you will be able to replace or to find out what is the cause only if you have some knowledge about electronics. at this point I think you will have to hire a technician.
sorry for not been of good help for your solution

When I turn my tv on it shuts off right away then flashes orange green orange green

Shutdown can be caused by just about every board in the TV. What is the model number of the TV? If you need a replacement part, I have always found Tri-State Module helpful. You can talk to their technicians to help you diagnose the problem further too.

Power light is flasing and tv wont turn on. if I push the power button twice it will stay on for a few seconds but then starts blinking again

Your TV is going into shutdown mode. The most common cause is a problem in the convergence IC's. Both chips will have to be replaced and at a cost of around $350 for most shops. Thx

Shut off itself

sounds like you might have an auto overvoltage shutdown circuit kicking in. The hivoltage goes to high and the monitoring circuit auto shuts down. More than likely trouble is in hivoltage circuitry. If you have a transformer that will allow you to bring up the set slowly without shutting down and you can look to see what's happening.

Problem with tv turning on and off

Does the green light begin to flash when the picture disappears? If so, you have a weak lamp causing your TV to shutdown the picture. Replace the lamp with an original Sony lamp as the aftermarket lamps are known to have problems such as early failure and low brightness. Please be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!

Big screen tv repair

There is a short in this TV set somewhere. The TV set is trying to come on but because of the short, the power supply shuts down. No if it is not the over current shutdown, it could also be the main power supply with an over voltage shutdown protection mode. These are solid state TV sets and should only be worked on by trained techs. Good Luck
