Question about Sony Logitech Freedom (vs9632830403) Joystick
Been using Logitech freedom 2.4 cordless jostick for a couple of years with no problems .But now it wont work, tried reinstalling software, but still havng same problem. the light on the joypad is on amber when i try to use. Anyone got any ideas please.
What you can try is to press the surface on the receiver where the light blinks. This is actually a button you can click. The blinking pattern should then change. Now press any button on your joystick. The receiver is now scanning all channels for input and it should pick up the joystick's signal.
Most wireless devices from Logitech have multiple channels, which you can switch between, but this also means the receiver can be set to channel A and the joystick to channel B, which means they are not matching up.
After the click on any of the joystick buttons the light on the receiver should change to continuous light instead of blinking, indicating the link has been established.
You can find this solution on the Logitech web-site as well. Select your joystick and under the support steps it should say 'For wireless products you should now reestablish the connection following the steps here.' Where the word here is a hyperlink.
There you will find out that the receiver has a button to trigger the channel.
