I have a 1991 Suzuki Sidekick and am replacing the cpmpressor. The manufacturer says to empty any compressor that is in the new one and add new oil. How much do I add.

a vitara or sidekick both have JLX bodys.
check levels by the book. ATF oil.?
if car is 1992 and newer those cars had 2 a/t transmission choices
3sp pure hydramatic. Th180 3L30 with TCC lockup solenoid
4sp electronic shift trans. that has shift solenoids. 03-72LE

what does wont shift mean?
up or down shift.?
no up shift, or means its stuck in 1st gear
try to add full symptoms, as a/t are complex devices.

you can add a push button on any vehical but not a good idea it could get stolen

Check the combination switch to see if current is passing through.

Try replacing the instrument cluster dimmer knob to the left of the steering wheel. It has been the cause on a couple of my samurais

get marvins magic mystery oil pull the plugs out and put 3-5 tablespoons in each cylinder let it sit overnight, and turn the engine over by hand with a wrench

check for vacuum leaks, small hoses and brake booster hoses
