Press the on button on the remote and see it with the help of mobile phone's camera. If u did'nt see a light coming out of the remote, then your remote is faulty. And if u see light then your tv sensor is faulty.

cheers

I have a urc3021 and a sharp linytron television and there is only one sharp code that in the manual.what am i to do?

Last Option is to do a code search.
If your device does not respond to the remote control after trying all codes
listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for
your code.

For example, to search for a code for your TV:
1. On the remote control, press TV once.
2. Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.
3. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
4. Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate
between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off
(after pressing POWER). If the device does not have a Power
key, you can substitute another function, such as digits 0 ~ 9 ,
CH-up, or PLAY).
NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from
its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code
first.
5. To lock in the code, press and release SET.The LED will
blink twice.
6. To search for the codes of your other devices, repeat steps
1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate device key for
the device you are searching for.

Code book for urc 3300

Instead of going through all of the different codes, you could try a code search. Here are the steps to do this: 1. turn on the tv. 2. press and hold "set" until the LED blinks twice, then release "set." 3. Using the remote's keypad, enter the digits "9-9-1." The LED should blink twice 4. Aim the remote at the tv and slowly alternate between pressing "power" and "tv" repeatedly until the tv turns off. 5. When the tv turns off, stop pressing the buttons. Press and hold "set" until the LED blinks twice, and then release "set." Your remote should now be programed to your tv.
These instructions came from the following link. If you have any more trouble, you may consult the manual to search for an answer.

You will need to answer the questions on this page or enter the security code in order for your browser to open the page. It's not difficult, so don't freak out. I hope this helps, and good luck with the remote! Sincerely, Der Strom

I need the code for a Jumbo universal remote, for a sharp TV

The Innovage Jumbo remote codes for a Sharp TV are:

004, 009, 079, 095, 111, 112, 114, 122, 123, 124, & 173.

To program your remote by entering a code, follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
  3. Press the TV button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
  4. Enter the first set of 3-digit codes from the list. The LED will blink once every keypress. After the 3rd digit, the red LED will turn off indicating that the code was recognized for the device. If the code was not compatible, the LED will flash several times and you need to return to step 2 to try that code again or to try the next code in the list.
  5. After the LED has turned off, aim the remote at the TV and press ON/OFF. If the device turns off, you have used the correct code and the remote was successfully programed. If the device does not power off, return to step 2 and try again with the next code in the list.
I hope that helps.
