You might be better off creating a free account at opendns.com Then point your router to use their dns servers rather than your isp's. Use the parental controls at opendns to block certain sites for all phones, pcs and laptops in your home. Full instructions on their website.

Block website

if your using windows then you can do it with the "host file". your computer checks the host file before it goes to a DNS server so if you alter your host file to say https://facebook.com 172.0.0.1 in your host file it will never ask the dns and find out its actually 173.252.110.27 and basicly blocks the web site... its really sneaky and impossible for anyone short of a genius to undo.

In my office, i am unable to connect to irctc.co.in.msg displayed as website blocked by netgear firewall.

Firewall is used to protect the pc or the entire network. Consult your network administrator if the said website is really included in the list of domain or website being block by the router. It's the call of the administrator to unblock the site.
Good Luck

Netgear WGR614 Wireless Router what do i need to

Theoretical covrage is 600 feet ... 300 on each side of the antenna ... provided there are no walls, no trees, no cars etc. between you and the antenna. If you want to go further, you will have to get a 'bridge' and commercial grade repeaters/antennas which may transmit as far as 1000 feet or you may want to get high power equipment that will transmit further ...

How big are your 'blocks'? Trees? Buildings? EMI in the area?
