It fell over and is no longer working

The tip over switch was activated. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the heater for 12-15 minutes. Then plug the heater back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the controls as you normally do. Hopefully, that 10-15 minute timeout, allowed the heater controls to reset themselves.

Take good care of that heater, as the manufacturer has discontinued that model.

Hope I was able to help you.

The electric fireplace insert has a remote control 2 settings for flames 2 settings for heat (750 & 1500w ) also a timer.also a manual switch you turn on before using remote or manual setting. My...

It may be that the heater overload switch is shutting it off, because of overheating. Especially, if the heater is used a lot and is a year or more old. You can try to reset the overload switch by unplugging the unit for 10 - 15 minutes. Then plugging it back in again. If that doesn't solve the problem, you need to contact the manufacturer's Technical Service concerning this issue.

Also, cleaning the heating element with a vacuum that has a hose and brush attachment may help solve the problem. As the heating element may be clogged with dust and lint.

Hope this helps solve your problem.
