Re: no water pressure

Hi There could be couple of causes to this problem so you need to be more specific, still here are a few things for you to check. Check the inlet valve and the protective screen that?s inside ? it?s probably clogged, although you can clean the screen its better to replace the valve. Check your water pump if it working properly. Remember if you don?t have any(!!) plumbing experience don?t try it yourself and call someone. Good luck

Hi I have a lg fuzzy logic wf-1022tp top loader. When I switch it on it says PE pings whole time please HELP

PRESSURE SENSOR ERROR // Water level pressure switch error
The manufacturer has assigned this error or fault code to indicate that the machine is overfilling with water. This washer is equipped with a water level pressure switch. As the machine fills, the pressure increases on the switch, at the set pressure, the switch cuts power to the water inlet valve and the water stops flowing into the washer. If the pressure switch fails to sense properly, or the water inlet valve fails to shut off the unit can overfill. This situation can also be caused if the machine does not drain properly. First, check to see if water ever enters the machine when it is turned off. If so, replace the water inlet valve. Next, check the drain line to be sure it's not clogged or kinked. Next, check to see if the drain pump is working properly and removing the water from the previous cycle. If all of those check out, you may need to replace the pressure switch.

Water running all the time on wash ciycle

Check the small tube that is connected to the outer wash tub and the pressure switch. When the water flows into the tub pressure is created in the upper half of the tub which causes the pressure switch to turn off the water inlet valve when the required amount of water is present.
Check the tube for debris that prevents the pressure switch operating correctly, if the tube is clear, the pressure switch needs to be checked, replace if faulty.
Low water pressure into the machine can also cause the inlet valve not to close properly, minimum pressure required is 20psi.

Water will not turn off

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Water Inlet Valve If the washer is overflowing and power is shut off to the washer, the water inlet valve has failed. Replace it.
Pressure Switch If the washer is overflowing the pressure switch might be defective. The pressure switch is attached to a small tube which is attached to the outer wash tub. As the water level rises the air pressure in the tube increases, once the set water level is reached the pressure switch turns off power to the water inlet valve. Check to be sure the air tube to the pressure switch is clear before replacing the switch.

Low Water Pressure from House Supply If the washer is overflowing the water pressure to the water inlet valve might be too low. The water inlet valve requires a minimum of 20 psi to shut off properly. If the pressure is lower, the valve may not close fully when the power is shut off. This results in the valve leaking water into the washer and causing it to overflow.

E10 error code on Frigidaire affinity how to repair it

Your fill time, water fill time, is too long. Have a professional complete the following:
. Is the incoming water flow normal? Yes, go to step (4). No, go to step (2). 2. Are the incoming water faucets turned on? No, turn water faucets on. Yes, go to step (3). 3. Is the incoming water pressure above (30) psi? No, have customer correct pressure problem. Yes, check for kinked or blocked incoming water hoses, clean incoming water screens. If problem still remains, replace the water inlet valve assembly. 4. Does the fill water continue to enter the washer? Yes, go to step (5) no, go to step (6). 5. Remove power from washer. Did the water fill stop? Yes, go to step (6). No, replace the inlet valve assembly. 6. For Better models, check the electronic pressure sensor. For Good models, check the pressure switch. Pressure sensor checks good. Go to step (7). Pressure sensor checks incorrect. Replace pressure sensor. 7. Replace the Main Control Board

Keep get an e10 reading on all wah cycles

The fill time is taking too long as what error code E10 pertains to. The problem is either the water supply is not turned on, the water valves are not working or the screens are blocked, the pressure switch is not tripping, or the water flow meter, is there's any, is not working. Check if water is actually coming in or not.

Water Not Coming In
The problem is with the water supply or the water valves. Make sure the water supply is open and the water valve screens are clear. If water supply is on and the screens are clear, measure the voltage across the water valve solenoid which must be around 120VAC when the water valves must turn on. If there's voltage, the problem is with the water valves, replace it. If there's none, the problem is with the timer/control or the wire harness connecting the water valves. Check the wires and if there's no problem, the timer/control is fault and needs to be replaced.

Water Coming In
The problem is with the pressure switch not tripping. Check the pressure hose attached to the pressure switch for kinks and air leaks as these can prevent pressure build-up that should trip the switch from empty to full position. Also detach the pressure hose then blow air forcefully down through to clear any possible clogs. Do the same with the pressure switch inlet to possible free welded or stuck contacts. Replace the pressure switch if there are no apparent problem with the pressure hose and its connections to both the switch and the bottom of the tub.

On Duet Front Loader- Error code F/H. Can see plenty of water coming in so I suspect pressure switch. Is this a common problem? I don't quite understand your pressure switch check procedure in your...

This error code F/H tells that no water entering the machine is detected during the fill step of the wash cycle. It can be due to siphoning, pressure switch not tripping or stuck in the empty position, or the water flow meter is not reading the correct water flow. Make sure that no water is draining out of the drain hose due to siphoning as water fills in and position the end of the hose to prevent such condition.

The pressure switch is stuck and not tripping if after 8 minutes the water flow meter has detected 10.5 gallons of water passing through it but the control has not detected the pressure switch trips. The water valves are then turned off and the error code is flashed. The error code is also flashed if after 30 seconds the water valves are turned on and no water is detected entering the machine due to sticking flow meter pinwheel or the flow meter is not positioned properly.

The flow meter is position sensitive. The pinwheel must be installed vertically. Any canter to it may cause the wheel to stick. Many times the F/H error code pops up only when HOT water passes through the flow meter. The hot water may be softening the hoses on either side of the meter, causing the flow meter to canter. Stuck or cantered pinwheel affects the flow meter's ability to read water flow accurately. Disconnect the hoses from the flow meter then blow air into the inlet to free a possible stuck pinwheel. Replace the flow meter if the pinwheel is totally stuck and cannot be freed.

Check the pressure hose for possible kinks or air leaks if the flow meter pinwheel is positioned vertically and turning freely. Kinks and air leaks in the pressure hose prevents pressure built up in the pressure switch dome and the pressure switch cannot trip. Check the pressure hose including its connections to the pressure switch and the bottom of the tub. Blow air into the pressure hose to clear possible clogs or kinks and check it for air leaks. Also blow air into the pressure switch dome to free a possible pressure switch contacts welded or stuck in the empty position. You should hear the pressure switch clicks if it is tripping. Replace the pressure switch if not tripping and the pressure hose has no kinks or air leaks.

Theres a code "LF" beeping....

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
When your washer displays error LF , it is due to low water pressure, slow or continuous fill.All washers are designed to operate with a water supply pressure of 20-100 PSI. When the pressure drops below 20 PSI the washer can have the following problems;
  • Slow Fill- low water pressure reduces the speed at which water flows into the machine.
    • Verify the pressure at all other water sources in the house (i.e. sinks, showers, etc..). If you find other places where the pressure is low, the problem is not with the machine but with the water supply.
  • Continuous Fill- The valve may not fully seat under 20 PSI which would allow for a constant flow even when the machine isn't supposed to be filling.
    • Contact the water company to verify the pressure being supplied to the house
  • Error Codes- LF for long fill or FH for no water detected.
    • A plumber may need to be consulted if the pressure is found to be too low.

Faucet water pressure is usually a function of the city's pressure to your house. At the time of the failure, please check other faucets, or ask a neighbor if they have the same problem.
Turning the faucet off allows the pressure to build back up, but does not fix the problem.
I have seen new construction sap water pressure as they load their water trucks often leaving whole areas without pressure.

Code LF on Kenmore Oasis washing machine.

Error code LF means long fill. This means that analog water level pressure sensor signal is out of range or the water pressure is very low. The analog pressure sensor is a component on the machine control board. The normal water pressure is 100-200 PSI, when the pressure below 40 PSI then this error occurs. Verify the pressure at all other water sources in the house and check if its low at all places, if its low then contact the water company. Also check the inlet water hoses if they are kinked. Inspect the inlet water valve as well.

If you find no problems with the air hose or water pressure and its connections, then the machine control board would need to be replaced.

Please post back for any further assistance.

How do I adjust the water Pressure Switch to allow more water into the machine?

water pressure is whatever the water pressure is at the faucet, the machine has no pump to increase the pressure, no washer does.
