The kind of paper you use on the printer really matters as it detrmines a lot whether the printer will jam or not. When removing the jammed paper simply try to slide it out by using your hand to pull out the jammed paper. The weight as well as density of a paper can be a means of it. Definitely try regulating a heavier class paper that's a smallest of twenty-four Lbs.
Then check the rubber that rolls the paper in the direction of printing. If it is loose or worn out, the printer will continue to jam until it is fixed.
Check the blue dial in the paper drawer to see if it is set to the correct paper size. LTR means the paper is sitting in the drawer straight up and down. LTR-R means the paper is lying sideways in the drawer. When these dials are incorrect it can cause the machine to jam or give false jams.
