Question about Sharp Aquos LC-32G4U 32 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
My TV will work fine for about 1 hour than it loses the picture with the green power light still on...then it goes into standby, then turns itself back on. It will repeat this until I leave the TV. If I keep a fan blowing high on the AVC unit it stays on all day. Could this be temperature related like i think or is it a board problem? Do I need to send in? Thanks. Brian
Yes it is a temp problem as you found out for your self Great call on that BUD.. the best thing to do is contact sharp to see if they have had simular problems and if there are any recalls on this model . If not they will instruct you where to send the monitor into to be fixed.

Picture goes out, but audio stays on. This started about 4 days ago. We turn it off, and eventually the picture comes back. Now nothing. Totally black screen.

I need a solution for my problem.
Sharp Aquos LC-32D40U purchased 2006
Lost picture when set was 15 months old, Sharp would do nothing, did repair at shop Sharp recommened, cost almost
$ 500. They replaced Scaler Board 8/2/07 now 2/18/08 there is no picture again. Have been advised to junk it before spending more money on it.
