Its actually a virus, either your AntiVir already made a scan of your system but not all of it where deleted within the system registry. Someway, it looks for that certain file that has to be loaded and has to be trace from the start-up.

Follow this few simple steps that you need to do:

Run the Run Command, type regedit or regedt32 and press enter
click the ff:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon

Check and locate for the key Shell, the value of this must be Explorer.exe . If you can see some other strings after that like for example: Explorer.exe C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin... , then delete the second file from the value, it must only be Explorer.exe

Then, also check for the key Userinit. The value must be C:\Windows\System32\Userinit.exe, (including the comma) . If after that some string were added, delete it.
After that close the registry and restart your system .

ERROR LOADING C:\PROGA~1\MYWEBS~\bar\7.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL IS THIS WHY MY COMPUTER WON'T GO BACK TO A RESTORE POINT ,CAN YOU FIX IT FOR ME?

If you try and restore, and this error comes up when you are restoring then yes.

Check the quarantine file in your anti-virus and see if your anti-virus
quarantined this file.

If you emptied the folder then you can try and download the DLL, and copy it to the system 32 folder in windows.

C, windows, system 32.

Also place it in the program folder of MYWEBS.

This is the download for the DLL below.

Did you recently delete or uninstall a program? The startup folder may be looking for the key in your registry, which may lead to a now-unused file extension.

The "easy" fix (so as not to mess directly with the registry manually), go to www.cnet.com, download "cccleaner", and run it's registry component (scan for issues and fix). Ccleaner is non-spyware, non-ad-ware and is very efficient in catching most "leftovers" in the registry (also is beautiful for cleaning out your cache, temp files, and temp internet with secure file shredder. And (drum roll) it's free :)

Hope this helps!

PS -- IF... by chance, you didn't uninstall anything, and haven't deleted any program recently, you MAY want to run your antivirus software (full scan). I would suggest rebooting in safe mode, downloading the latest definitions, and running a full scan)... good luck! -- Roonie

You have spyware infesting your computer, the mywebsearch browser helper object. Run either Adaware or Spybot Search & Destroy, either should get rid of it for you. If not, please post to this thread and I'll give you a link to manual removal.

Missing m3plugin.dll

Hi ssponheim,
this is a common issue with the program. (MyWebSearch).
Try this. Right click once on the start button, (Apop-up window will open), slide up to Explorer & left click on it once. Right click once on the C: drive & left click Search. In the search top window type the name of the file: m3plugin.dll

Click search.
Windows will find the file. Right click once on the file m3plugin.dll listed in the right hand side of the window & left click Copy. Windows Explorer is still opened. Scroll down to the folder Program Files & left click the plus sign next to it. Program Files will open & you'll see all kinds of folders.
Find the Mywebsearch folder & open it. Find the folder 1.bin Right click once on that folder & left click past.
Close all opened windows & restart the system.
The program will function again without an error message.

Good luck!

M3plugin.dll

This is a Spyware issue. Go to Add/Rmove in the Control Panel and remove from the list. Then You have to update and run your Anti-virus program. Then google Ad-aware 2008 and download it and install. run it to clear the spyware. The google CCleaner , d/l it and install it when it opens click on analyze , then run cleaner when it finishes analyzing.
I would download SpyBlaster 4.0 ( or latest one) and install it
Try to run the programs in Safe Mode.
These are all free programs that will help you clean your PC and help keep it clean.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

When starting my laptop alert window pops up RUNDLL and it says C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\3.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL specified module could not be found

That is a module used by the popular spyware program mywebsearch. If you've recently run a virus or spyware scan, it was deleted however the startup still remains. To clear this:

Click on start, then run.

In the box type msconfig

In the startups box, uncheck the box that corresponds to the mywebs.

Click okay, then restart. When it restarts, click the box and click ok again. The error should be gone.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate this as fixya.
