Symantec service framework not working

Hi ya .. I was also getting the same thing and followed that symantec recommended remove and reinstall, only to later find that thier is a hotfix and I found it on a blog. check it out

do an uninstallation and reinstallation of symantec.

log onto www.norton.com/n360s_3 for Norton 360 version 3.0 installation file.
log onto www.norton.com/nis09 for norton Internet security installaation file
log onto www.norton.com/nav09 for norton antivirus installation file.

download the Norton removal tool from website www.norton.com/nrt
run this tool and restart the computer

after restart install Norton and activate the product with your product key

uninstall the micorsoft .net framework from the add/remove programs and reinstall it
