No voice command

Try going to the settings menu and look for voice options. Usually there is a box that needs to be checked for the option to work.

When i try to use the voice command on my garmin 3790 ltm it says that the feature is not available in Canada! It worked when i first bought it a month ago any way to reset it or any advice...thanks...

Hello and Welcome to FixYa! The voice command in Garmin 3790 totally depends on the mapset. Some custom mapsets lose this feature. It's to do with files used and converting files. Reverse converter often has this problem. It can also be caused by some unlocking techniques, May be you are somewhere in Canada where map set is not configured for this so your voice command is not working and you are getting this problem. You can call Garmin Support back to clarify this.
Though i am telling you that how can you Master reset it, May be it can helpful for you. First of all go to Map Screen, Press and hold speed icon, In trip calculator window, Hold the center dash icon until it takes you to config screen, here you can reset it
I hope I have given you a clear picture. If you have anything else in your mind to ask. Its you right. Do post.

How to activate voice command 3760t

Page 19 of your manual:
Activating Voice Command
Speak your wakeup phrase. The Voice Command menu appears.

Setting your Wakeup Phrase
The wakeup phrase is a word or phrase you can say to activate voice command. The default wakeup phrase is "Voice Command".
1. From main menu, touch Tools > Voice Command > Customize Phrase.
2. Enter a new wakeup phrase.
3. Touch "Done"

If this solves your posted problem, please come back and rate our answer. Thankyou.

I have a garmin 3970t and the voice command does not work

The Garmin's not very good at recognising the default set phrase to initial voice command; i.e. "Voice Command". If you bring up the Tools menu, and touch Voice Command, it will tell you what phrase it's expecting to hear and provide a button to touch to customise it. The default, as I said, is "voice command", but for some reason, it thinks it's pronounced something like "Vwuss commont". Try it. It might work!

I changed my voice command phrase to "Voys Commarnd" (I'm English - it's how my accent would be written phonetically). It now works most of the time without a problem.

I have no voice commnd

There is a software bug Garmin has been working on for a while. The voice file changes to none. To fix go to tools, settings voice and change to desired language. Sometimes the language files get messed uo and need reloaded from webudater, this can be obtained from www.garmin.com. The latest Garmin Software version is 4.80

How do I use the voice command?

HI Con613,
Voice command is one of the feature of the mobile. It is important and if u understand it, it is very easy and useful to us.
Voice command is used to perform some sort of function (such as to open apps, camera, voice recorder, etc. and to call peoples) by giving voice command.
For it u need to go to voice command in tools in menu, then a list of apps appears. In it, u choose 1 apps, then it gives command to record voice. Record any voice of urs as command for it. When in standby mode or desktop, hold right soft key until voice command appears. Then give the same voice as recorded before to open the choosen apps.
Same process is to be applied for the apps.
For dialling people from voice command, u need to go to the person's contact. Go to options of it and add a voice as command for it. And same process is to be applied as to open the apps.
thank you
===============================================
It is for mobile users.
If it is helpful for u, u can feedback me.
And i will help u later in other problems.
SAJAN
