I have a pmp500-4 digital media player wondering am i able to hook up to listen to the music in my car?

there are several way to hook up your mp3 player to your car stereo using only a headphone jack. If you have a tape deck you can use a tape to headphone converter, or If it doesn't have a tape deck don't worry you can purchase mp3 player Wireless FM Radio Transmitter, available at your local electronics dealer or online for much better prices . I hope I could Help.

Can't pair bluetooth headphones with Insignia Pilot MP3 player

the directions from Samsung to pair the headset was way off. You need to hold down the main button then turn on the headset. Only then will the headset go into pairing mode by maintaining a solid blue light. It took me a couple of days of troubleshooting and experimenting to realize this pairing method. I just hope that this problem is only due to my headset because I assume a lot of people who buy this headset and try out Samsung's directions will become very frustrated. I almost returned the product and I am sure many others would too.

Replacement Battery

Hello kstnf,

The battery for the Insignia Pilot MP3 player appears to be available from Best Buy Parts Search for $41 plus shipping. Go the Best Buy Parts search website and search from the Model number of your MP3 player (which I believe is NS-4V24). Or you can call 1-888-BestBuy to order.

Best Regards,

Bluetooth/ Insignia mp3

Hi MzM1990,

You can find lots of useful product information about your Insignia MP3 player on the manufacturer's website located at: http://www.insignia-products.com.

(The actual product page for your MP3 player is located at http://www.insignia-products.com/pc-289-22-insignia-pilot-8gb-video-mp3-player-with-bluetooth-technology.aspx)

I'd recommend downloading the User's Manual. The instructions on how to connect the MP3 player to Bluetooth compatible headphones are located on pages 27-29 of the manual.

NOTE that the wireless headphones MUST be A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) compatible to use this feature. If your headphones are also AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) compatible then you will also be able to adjust some settings of the MP3 player (such as play/pause, skip forward/backward and control the volume) wirelessly. Check the documentation on your headphones to ensure compatability.

Best regards.
Ken

Need Speakers

The NS-DV2G and NS-DV4G are not the Bluetooth models, so Bluetooth speakers will not help you here.

Decent self-powered PC speakers should work well as a speaker solution for this unit unless you were looking for portability. Basically you're looking for speakers that have a headphone level input...not a line level input. you'll need speakers with a built in amplification circuit.

As for recomendations...that's really a subjective question and up to the users preferences for listening.
