Sanyo DP26640 LCD TV won't power up. Is there a fuse somewhere inside?

Every TV will have an AC fuse inside. This fuse can be located at its main power regulator [SMPS] board. This is a protection fuse; and if it is found burned [open], there should be sufficient reason for it. some kind of short circuit, or over voltage etc: Replacing this fuse without make sure, about the cause to burn the fuse; the newly inserted fuse too will fail, and more damage to set can occur. So, it is better to contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

How do i fix the humming in the volume

If the audio output IC is faulty, Hum will be heard, even if the volume level is set to [Zero].
Check the speaker/s first. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. My Polaroid LCD TV has humming sound when turned on. The humming sound die after the TV has warmed up.

That is a transformer squealing. That will be on the backlight inverter. Use it until it stops working and then you will need a replacement.

Thank you!

Vizio 42'' HDTV flatscreen

The TV usually hums when the backlight setting is too low. So turning it up should get rid of the problem. To do this please follow these instructions:

1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press the Menu button on the remote, located right below the channel changing button.
3. Press the down direction button, located at the middle of the remote. Press that button until the backlight is highlighted.
4. Press the right direction button until the backlight is at 100.
5. Press the OK button and then the Exit button until you get back to your picture.

Picture won't come in clear until TV "warms up" for 15 minutes or more

Change the capacitors first per the instructions in the link below. Symptoms could be anything from high-pitched hum to no picture at all. On these defective models, I would start at the caps and work back. It won't hurt to replace them anyway.

Hum

If the noise starts out fairly loud and decreases or dissapears after a warm up period this is probably the cap problem, which has a detailed solution posted on Fixya. If you replace the 2 caps ,while you are in there I suggest replacing the 3rd 1000 microfarad cap that is very near the 2 10 volt units which are definately bad ones. The repair posting is very good, and if you or a friend can solder it is easy to do.The instructions are really very good.
