Power washer does not work
I have a Sears 1350 psi power washer. It is probably 10 years old but rarely used. My neighbor borrowed it, it worked for 10 minutes when he brought it back, but now does not come on. Recently I hooked up the water, plugged in the power cord, turned it on and then pulled the trigger. It started to spray, for about 2 seconds and then just went to a trickle coming out of the wand. Even with the trigger pulled, the motor will not start up.
Any ideas?

hello sir,that is ongoing problem with power washers the pump not working. than working sporadically. the main cause is leaving the pressure hose hooked up to machine over a long period not draining hose & machine,in winter time the hose & pump will freeze causing hose & pump to expand and burst.build up of calcium deposits from hard water clogging up pump nozzle,valves in the gun handle,clogging hose fittings and screens.one of these has to be the problem.hope this helps,good luck,MrFixIt. oh could you please give me a rateing.thank you.
