Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
As recently as last week it seems that when I put my games in to play I'm required to "Update" my 360.
That's fine and all but I find myself having to update EVERY single day/time I play a game.
Now my question is:
*Is my 360 actually recieving these constant updates?
*Or is my 360 just updating and then losing the update after I'm done playing?
This is getting rediculous. What if my connection goes out? Is my 360 gonna stop me from playing these games from now on until I get the update?!
Anybody else have this problem? How did u solve it....PLEASE
To format your hard drive go to the dashboard then system settings then memory then click into hard drive u will c device options on the bottom of the screen press y to go into it in there u will c the option to format. it sounds like your loosing the update you dont get updates every day that would be crazy you could try a friens hard drive and c if it holds the update

The deal with updating is that it is required if you are connected to Xbox Live, and therefore required to play online. The Xbox is definitely receiving the updates, otherwise it would not let you into the game at all.
The good news is that if you lose your connection at some point, the Xbox will not know there is an update available and you will be able to play your games in the single player mode. If you are only interested in playing single-player and don't want the Xbox Live features, just unplug your connection before you start the Xbox.
