What type of camera are you using?
Is the memory card brand new? the memory card is probably corupt, try formatting it on a computer and trying again.
How big capacity is the card?
The camera may not be able to handle the card if it is a HC (high capacity) card, but it depends on the camera.
Will the camera work with other cards?
