Question about Orion1934 19" TV
Posted on Sep 06, 2007
Am I helping you to get around your parents block? ;] look, if it's a missing remote eventually you'll want a remote anyway, it makes life hard without one. so, go to ebay, or to a shop that sells that TV and see if they can help you get a replacement remote. You don't have any control over the V chip on the TV face, so you'll have to open it up and physically remove it. I strongly suggest against that. You're likely to render the whole set inoperable, or electrocute yourself to death. this is no joke. TVs are the most dangerous household appliance to service, alongside microwaves. If you don't know where to touch and how you can get zapped by enough voltage to kill. so take care, and best leave it alone or take it to a repair shop. Good luck

We would be happy to help you with getting your new DISH Network remote to control your TV. We're going to start by pressing and holding the TV button located on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights come on, and then release. Use the number buttons to enter the codes for your Orion TV; here are some of the codes we currently have for it: 720, 748, 748, and 748. Press the pound (#) button. To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Remember that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for your Orion TV until you find one that is compatible with it.
We hope this helps and thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!
