When the projector is turned on, it displays the default screen. In the lower left corner the display is red. Adjusting the color tint does not correct this. Is there an internal problem?
If its only in the lower left corner sounds as somethings blocking the lamp from the lcd These sets dont use a degussing coil so we know its not a magnetic problem Check and see if something crawed inside the set and is blocking a bit of the lcd?? ar could be dirt or dust too??

The projector uses a polarising filter, in between the lamp lenses and the LCD panels. Due to overheating, it's possible for the filter to become tarnished - it's only a thin plastic film bonded to glass slide. Replacing the polarising filter is a complex job, requiring complete disassembly of the projector - but can be done. Use replacement polarising film from any optical camera supplier.
