I have a MDB7100AWB that has been working fine for the last 7 years. Now all of the sudden it will not complete a wash cycle in any mode (including auto clean). It consistantly stops at 85 on normal wash & at 65 on light wash and then clicks/buzzes about every 3 seconds, like it wants to continue - but never does. Any clues as to what to try? Is 7 years all I can expect to get?
Hello welcome
First I would recommend putting the washer in a diagnostic test mode to
see if there is a stored error code indicating where the failure is.
Once the cycle starts, it should progress on its own to the end of the
cycle without needing any assistance. All you can really do is make
sure the water supply (hot & cold) is on & the drain hose is
not kinked or restricted. Here is a copy of the service manual showing
the test modes & error codes. You can order the owners manual with
part number 8566938 at www.sears.com
Thank you
