Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My monitor is properly connected to power supply and to the cpu . However, it will display turns totally blank. Light off the power switch remains on though.

Hello,

This is a common issue with the VA1912 units. The black screen is caused by a failure of the filter capacitors on the power supply board. You can replace the capacitors and the monitor will be as good as new. Here is a link to some information on the capacitors needed to build the power supply board.

Is the CPU seated properly using the CPU golden triangle to the socket corner small triangle?

If you have confirmed that everything is seated properly and the computer will still not post then you may have to call the manufacturer for a replacement or RMA.

No heat; replaced thermostat, replaced heater core, and checked hoses to see if everything is hooked up properly.

if after replacing all thoughs parts you don't have heat first thing i would do is pressure test your coolant system make sure it is building pressure, if it not building pressure than the water pump isn't working, if it is building pressure than i would check the heater controls some times they come unplugged or the switch fails, thats where i would go next with it, hope this helps good luck

New build computer boot problem

The exact problem is not actually a problem.Just get in to BIOS.
As it is a new system, even if you get to boot from HDD it would say insert proper boot device and press enter or your floppy drive is in first boot.Check you boot settings.

Change the boot order as below.
  • 1st boot device:CD drive
  • 2nd boot device:Hard drive
  • 3rd boot device: anything you want
Now save and exit(F10 then Enter)
Now your PC will reboot.

Drop in the OS CD (Xp , LINUX or whatever)
Install the OS .Now you are ready to use your PC.
