Question about Apple iPod MA446LL/A MP3 Player

Open Question

Bitrates I used the Jodix Video Converter to re-convert all my video files to have a bitrate of 512 but they still cut out at exactly the same point as they did before. Could it be the audio bitrate perhaps?

Make sure the videos after you converted are MP4 or M4V format. Otherwise, they won’t be supported by iPod. By the way, which converter do you use? I recommend you Aimersoft Video Converter. You can find it here:
http://www.aimersoft.com/video-converter.html
Hope it helps.

Most of the problems are caused by the converter. You must replace the converter when rebuilding or replaceiong the transmission. I knoe because I have several and that is the main problem, it goes out and damages the trans. I go with a heavey duty or bullit converter. I have several dodge rams with well over 300,000 miles anddo a lot of plowing and towing. I would order a heavy duty over the internet, not use the standard. Check with www.transmissioncenter.net or http://tpiconverters.com/

SOURCE: 2001 Cadillac diagnostic intermittent code points

the problem could be that the convertor is no longer doing its job of reducing the emmissions which you wouldn`t notice any performance problems with the drivability of the car.you should have a convertor efficency test done to the convertor to eliminate or prove the problem.it could also be an o2 problem that you have.it should be put on a scan tool to see what the readings are while the car is driven.this may help in finding the problem

How to convert wave files to mp3.

All you need is WINAMP( a free download available almost everywhere, else search from google). This is if you are trying to convert CD's.
Else search for a audio converter at cnet or softpedia.com.
You can set the bitrate & higher bitrates gives better playback, However 160 kbps is a good one! Even jet audio/video player offers conversion from *.wav to 8.mp3 from the File/Tools menu.........sodeep

Reduce the bitrate of .mp4 file

Download the video Converter from this link Any-Video Converter
Install and run from the Start menu or Desktop.
Drag and drop the video file (you can even use the File menu for adding files) into the Any-Video Converter box.

Select the following settings:
Video Codec = mpeg4
Frame Size = 320*240
video bitrate = 768
video framerate = 30
audio codec = aac
audio bitrate = 192
sample rate = 48000
audio channel = 2
disable audio = no
A/V sync = Basic

P.S. These setting will give you the best audio and video, but will slow down the processing of the phone when you use Play/pause/next button of the player. It will have no effect on the processing of the video file.
Enjoy.

I converted movie to ipod format but audio is not coming.

The ipod only supports certain bitrates so first check the actual bitrates supported by ur ipod and then convert the mpeg to 3gp or mp4 format within supported range. ur problem will b solved.

I can't put my videos on my SONY NWZ-zs618f

This player is pretty specific about the bitrates/formats of MP4's it will accept: It will accept MP4 SP and MP4 AVC Only two bit rate options: 384 kbps vid/128 kbps aud.; or 768 kbps vid./128 kbps aud. There cannot be any kind of copy protection on the MP4's The Media Manager doesn't actually convert the video files - you will have to use an outside converter such as Arcsoft Media Converter or Riva FLV Encoder - make sure you get a program that will allow you to specify exact bit rates.

Classic Ipod video playback problem

This is a response to all thoes with the problem of ipod videos stopping randomly and acting as though the video had ended. (please excuse any spelling or grammer errors that may be involved in this post)
I have reciently noticed alot of topics on this and other sites that had issues with the video on the ipod. After syncing a video that is a proper mp4 format, it seemed to work fine, it even began to play but after one or less minutes the video would stop playing and act as though it was finished and had reached it's end. It would happen at the exact same point every time and you could fast foreward past it and it would continue playing, only to find the problem in another spot a few minutes later. I had this problem with each and every video that I synced and could not play any of them, this problem irritated me and as I found out alot of others who had the same problem. I could find no solution that had yet been found after searching many sites that involve help with the ipod. After some research I soon found and solved my problem. The problem is that the ipod will only accept videos that have a video bitrate of less than 768 kbps. This is what causes our problem as stated above. This would mean that 512kbps would be the ideal for watching videos. (every video that had a video bitrate of 512 kbps (or lower) always worked and had no issues whatsoever) Only a few 768 kbps videos will work and some of them will not. So to fix the problem you need to find somthing that will reformat your video to a video bitrate of 512 kbps or lower. The current one that I use is called "Jodix free ipod video converter", this will change your favorite non mp4 videos into mp4s and just be sure to set the video bitrate on the converter to 512kbps or lower. Also use this program to change your already mp4s into a video bitrate of 512kbps or lower. (Just be sure to set the video bitrate to 512kbps or less by sliding the bar to lower quality for video.) This should make your videos continue playing for full enjoyment of your ipod. (with video) Please respond with any and all questions. Thank you for your time, I hope this is useful and solves the problem. Sorry for being long winded with my answers, I do this to ensure full understanding of my explination. /\/icho.
