Can someone help me with the message LF? I don't know what's going on. I've only had this washer for one month. I didn't take out any extended warranties and don't know if the factory warranty will still be good.
The serial number has a two letter designation, the first is where it was assembled and the second is the year. A long fill error can be several items, we all need to know first, how full with water, is your supply low on pressure or do you have a drain hose inserted far enough to cause a siphon condition? You should hear a gurgle splash as it drains.
The factory warranty is usually good for the first year you own the appliance. Normally, a service company will ask for a receipt to validate this. If you cannot locate a receipt, your washer SERIAL NUMBER will determine the month and year the washer was manufactured. Any reputable service company will know this. This is the only time I would recommend that you do not attempt a repair yourself. If you open the washer and attempt any repairs, you may void any existing manufacturer's warranty. I would request a service call and have someone look at it. Keep records of all repairs and any receipts. Some manufacturer's have a lemon policy. You may want to review yours. In some cases, if the appliance is problematic, requires frequent repairs, AND you can prove it, they may replace it with an equal or comparible washer at no cost to you.
There is a tech sheet inside the washer mounted to the front of the wash tub that has all your fault codes and troubleshooting information. If you call for a service call, ask the service tech to retrieve it for you. Again, opening the washer cabinet may violate the terms of any existing warranty.
I hope you find this information helpful.
PS If you want to know the month and year your washer was manufactured, post back with your serial number (located along the wash tub opening) and I can get that information for you.

I am so tired of the LF signal and my washer stopping. Why is it doing this? What does LF stand for?
i keep getting lf code and washer will not run
I have had the washer for 9 days and am getting the LF code. It fills fine on the wash cycle and not on the rinse cycle. I am very disappointed! I will be returning it ASAP!!!!!!!
I get it all the time too! I'm so tired of my laundry time taking hours!
