To help you troubleshoot the you tube video freezing issue, please make sure you are using latest version of Adobe Flash player. If you don't have latest Adobe Flash Player, please find the link given below and install it:
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If issue persists, it is recommended to use latest browser version that you are using so that can support you tube videos. Check whether any Operating System update needs to be installed.

You need to download flash player. After installing, restart your browser. It's available for free here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

My hp 2530p locks up when i try to use video on firefox - You tube, BBC sport website and any others. Its done this since i recieved it brand new, any ideas?

Hi there,

What Web browser are you using? (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox etc.)

If you are using Internet Explorer of Firefox you may want to try to uninstall and reinstall your Adobe Flashplayer.

On your keyboard hold down the windows logo and then press R.

Once the run box comes up type in appwiz.cpl

Uninstall Flashplayer

Go to www.adobe.com and then download the latest version of Flash player (make sure you choose the version for your browser and operating system)

Hope this helps!

Try upgrading to the latest version of both the browser you're using (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) and the latest version of Adobe Flash player (get it from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/).
Hope that helps!
