Have you tried it on other pc's? It may be a bad usb port on your pc, Or, it may have gone bad.Try it on several different pc's and try other jumpdrives on your pc. If all is ok, the jumpdrive is bad, all data is lost. This happens sometimes when you unplug a jumpdrive with out turning it off in windows first.

Dont know where to plug in my mobile phone to get pictures from it

your mobile should come with wire that can be hook up in your pc. at the end of this wire/cable is a USB that you can hook up in any USB ports in your pc. also if your computer has the capability of bluetooth same as your mobile then by activating this features, you can easily access your photo from your mobile. goodluck

Cant retrieve images from by digimate3 media storage

Does your pc recognizes your digimate 3???

Double click my computer see if there is additional drive added in your pc e.g. F:\ (for removable disk) double click. you can see everthing on your digimate3.

if it does not recognizes, remove your usb cable and plug it in. if still would not be recognize, replace cable and that might resolve the problem

I have a lexar 1 GB jumpdrive secure 2 plus and was using it to save pictures. In the middle of trying to save a picture a notice came up saying i couldn't save it because the directory was full. how do i...

In that case I have two suggestions. *note I am assuming you are using a computer with Microsoft Windows.*

One: Defragment the jump drive. With the jump drive plugged in click on the 'start button' and choose 'My computer'. Then right click the jumpdrive and select 'properties' which will open a window. Click on the tools tab and select defragment.

Two: Format the drive. First, if the drive will allow, copy the data fron the jumpdrive to your computer. Then click on the 'start button' and choose 'My computer'. Then right click the jumpdrive and select format. Let me know if you have already tried this or if you need more clarification.

Hope that works for you.

What program should I choose to download the information from my Lexar 2GB jumpdrive?

Just open My Computer, and you should see the drive on your list of devices. Double click on it, and you can copy/paste the files from the jumpdrive to the main drive.

If the drive came from a camera, the "Camera and Scanning Wizard" might start, making it a bit easier for you to move the files.

Hope that helps

My computer cannot detect my USB pen drive. It was working fine this afternoon. I have tried switching ports and tried different computers. I think its due to rough handling. The make is 'smart', if it...

sadly, if your computer is not recognizing the USB flash/pen drive at all when you plug it in then it's one of a couple of possible problems which can be separated into 2 distinct groups.
1) problems with your computer
--you said you tried multiple computers, and it would not recognize on any of them. i'm assuming they are systems which this or a similar drive has worked on before. therefore, it's 90% certain that there is NOT a computer configuration problem.
2) problems with the drive
--if the drive is being recognized by the computer, and you just can't retrieve the data on the drive then there's a couple of possible solutions. Tech Republic offers free membership and several "free to try" programs that could help recover the data on your drive. Click here for a link to Tech Republic
--If the drive is not being recognized by your system, then it is most likely physically damaged and there is not a high probability of recovery. If the connector is bent at all you could try straightening it out, but other than that there's not much you can do to recover your drive.

I hope my solution answered your question or helped out in some way. Please do not forget to rate my solution.

I have a lexar jump driver and will not come upon pluging into my computer the light does not come on. I checked in another computer it worked. There is something in my computer.

Some lexar jumpdrives have a case that is too fat to be fully inserted in usb connector of some PCs, I have has the same problem, try a short usb extension cable, worked for me.
