Question about Mitsubishi Heating & Cooling

Open Question

Mitsubishi MUZ-A42ANA heat pump and MSZ-A42ANA indoor fan unit worked like a charm for over a year. Still does. But the condensed water removal operation (A wall mounted 2”x2” mini pump, Sauermann SI3100UN-23, 230v 50/60 Hz 18w, Made in France, removes water through plastic tubing from the indoor unit to the roof mounted heat pump 8 feet above) is making a vibrating noise each time it is activated, about every 30 seconds or so. Water is being sucked out, bubbles inside tubing and all, but the vibrating sound is a downer. Question 1: Is the mini pump the obvious culprit? Question 2: Is it normal to have air bubbles in the plastic tubing? Question 3: Is it normal to have condensation sucked out as often as 30 seconds apart? Thanks for your expert opinion.

SOURCE: How to connect 230V,60Hz 2400 BTU Airconditioner in 115V 60 Hz

Impossible to do because the compressor is wired to use 230V. The motor on the compressor won't even run. You will need to have an electrician come in and check your breaker box to see if you can add a 2 pole breaker that will be needed to run the a/c. To add 230 volt, you will need to upgrade the wiring as well as the breaker. I wouldn't recommend you doing this at all! You risk killing yourself and or burning your house down. Hire a proffesional for this job.

SOURCE: The tubing for the condensation tube disconnected

You need a pro here because you could break refrigerant lines and that would be an even more costly repair! Go with someone who knows mini-splits.

Your problem is outside, i can see why he would say it is a sensor problem ...But perhaps it is your fan not turning at the correct speed. example if on a really hot day your air conditioning cuts out it could be your pressure is too high which would trip your compressor. What refrigerant does this system use? and is this a new installation? or is it an old installation new problem? Do something for the MUZ-GA35VA external device open the top when u have another failure and on the board there should be a particular type of flashing pattern, that "should" be fairly accurate in diagnosing the problem. Hi - I have a MR SLIM MSZ A09NA HEAT PUMP. It is dripping inside the room. It was installed in 2008. Is seams to be loose on the wall. Is it supposed to be level? tipped to the right ?

An air conditioner should be installed so it's level. These appliances are designed so that condensate collects below the fan and runs into the slinger ring, which is made of sheetmetal and is part of the fan assembly. The bottom of the ring acts like a gutter to collect condensate. The fan then picks the water out of the ring and slings it against the condenser coils.
Recycling the condensate in this manner increases the coils' cooling capacity. Check the air conditioner for level -- front to back and side to side -- when you install the unit.
If it is tipped a little to the Front then you will Get water inside room.

try to check your compressor if working if not check electrical parts like capacitor. overload if defect replace. also try if compressor working observe the condensing unit fan blowing hot air if not theres possibilities of leakage of refrigerant gas need for braze leak then recharge refigerant gas. or possible compressor loose compression need for replacement.

Mitsubishi Mr Slim Units Take 5+ minutes to start

this is not abnormal. you dont have to worry about the refrigerant freezing. it wont. Once your unit is given the call for heat it can take 5 minutes easily for the refrigerant to circulate and draw the btus from the ambient air. you can try to change the setting on your fan to medium but no higher.
