Re: spore killed ma pc
How did you check that power was going in, I wonder. I rather imagine that something overheated and that produces your condition; resetting the BIOS is a likely solution rather than a problem, but you want to recreate the old settings....
Are you not getting a beep code?
You should try to carefully reseat your videocard, and have your speaker hooked up so you can hear a beepcode if you get one. I might suspect your power supply was overused also; unplug it a while and/or try a spare (being careful to replug the videocard too.) Then make sure things are cooled right before playing again. Killer app indeed.

undo the cable to the computer and turn it around and refit. If still nothing, turn off the pc by holding in the on/off switch. Remove the power lead and leave for a couple of mins. plug in again and try. If still nothing borrow someones monitor and try that. If still no good the the graphics card has had it. If the motherboard has internal graphics the just buy a cheap card and fit it and use that. If the pc has its own graphics card then remove it and refit it. Sometimes poor contacts make this happen. If still no good then replace the graphics card.
hi, unplug the pc- remove the lithium battery on the board-find the jumper on a three prong header-move it 2 the reset bios position-push the power on button, or wait 5 min-then put it all back to the way it was-then boot up.. make sure you set the correct values- bus speed-boot order-time and date-ect. if you need further help-reply. good luck! and please rate this solution. be well!
Usually this will happen due to an overheating problem. I would check ALL of your fans and make sure everything is working properly and that you are not overclocking anything that would cause issues as well.
It has to be your M/board battery. I had a similar problem and fitted another M/board battery and it fixed it What is happening when you first turn it it on and it does not start and leave for 10 mins then reboot the battery has slight charge enough to boot computer I would ensure you M/board battery is fitted correctly and that the fittings for it are good
I am only using the onboard video w/c is geforce 6100 nforce 430 chipsets. I already reformat the windows xp and loaded the CD driver that came together the mobo and still no problem.
I just want to know whats the cause, can drivers cause the problem? In nvidia there is no Geforce 6100 nforce 430 BUT there is Geforce6150SE nforce 430 and I already downloaded that thought that its the driver but when I am using it for 2-3 days it hangs and problem occur...but I am not so sure if thats the cause. Pls help me troubleshoot w/c is the problem.
Mobo chipsets or processor is defective? I already tested the processor and it has no problem. I still dont know if the mobo is the fault. For 2 months of use I never had a problem like this.
