Lexmark6170 power not working

A few 15 minute the was off the whole house and tried to put back the power of our printer but it doesn't work, pls, help!!

WX 435 Motorola was working fine a few minutes ago then it just off and won't come back on or charge. What happened?


Sometimes if the battery is dead you need to leave it plugged in for 5-10 minutes before it will "come back to life"
If that doesn't work, unplug it, take the battery out, wait a few minutes, then put the battery back in and let it charge for a while.
Also try another charger.

Try power option High performance or search your Advanced power settings for the USB settings, I don't know what your OS is, but the settings can be set by the device.

Printer do not start


Try to unplug the power adapter (black box) at the back of the printer for about 1 minute. If it doesn't work, try to update the firmware of your printer: http://bit.ly/ghfW8H.

If those steps doesn't work and your printer is still under warranty, please contact our technical support team to have the printer replaced.

Try to re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.



If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

I refilled ip1300 but still the message is ink low.what can i do?pls help

You can try this it some times works.

Super Canon User's method of resetting IP1300
1.Press Resume button hold for 1 - 2 minutes (count to 1 to 15-16)
2.Open the cover right away
3.Release Both cartridges out and then put cartridges them back again
4.Close The Cover
5.Turn Off Then Turn On again.

This fixed mine:

1/15/10

To fix this issue:

1. Unplug the Unit
2. Unplug the Phone Cord
3. Disconnect the Battery from the Handset
4. Wait 10-15 minutes… and put back together in Reverse Order
5. Connect the Handset Battery
6. Plug-in the Phone Cord
7. Plug-in the Unit

Ugh


Try a hard reset: unplug printer from pc and main power supply. Wait about 10-15 minutes and while holding down the power button, plug it back into the pc and power supply.

Canon MP 600 Will Not Turn On .... grumble.


I had this same issue. Lost power in the house for just a second, but after the printer would not turn on. I think that the loss of power caused the printer to get stuck in a locked state. Tried everything I could think of including changing outlets that the printer was plugged into but nothing seemed to work. Saw a troubleshooting tip on the Canon webpage about unplugging the unit for 5 minutes and thought it was hooey, but tried it anyway. Ended up leaving the unit unplugged for probably 15 minutes and when I re-plugged it in it fired right up.

All lights keep blinking


I would try some simply things first. 1. Pull the power plug and wait for approximately 15 to 20 minutes before plugging back into outlet. 2. If your power plug is plugged in a power strip then try pluggin directly into the wall outlet. 3. I would make sure there are no paper jams. 4. If you recently installed ink cartridges, then check to make sure they are the right make and model for your printer. Comments: If you had a power surge the printer may just need to be powered off for awhile. Some printers will hold there settings for at least 15 minutes.
