For the eStudio 350, unless you get a used unit, it's much easier to get the whole developer unit, the part number is 6LA76548000 and sells for about 550.00 USD.

Hi, I have a C6500 Bizhub pro, but, recently displays an C3102 error. I need to print an urgent job and y can't! Please helpme!


The fuser exit rollers are the light grey painted rollers on the exit of the fuser itself. There is a slider mechanism that when slid forward or towards the rear, will adjust the pinch of the roller. Primarily it is there to deal with what is called a waxing effect where the rollers physically leave an impression in the soft toner on thick stocks. Reducing the pinch for thick stock reduces this. However, when doing thin stock, especially letter size paper, jamming can occur if the pinch is not engaged since there is no physical contact to drive the paper to the next conveyance rollers when doing duplex or face down printing.

The slider can be found on the left side door of the fusing unit itself, near the front. Normal operation is in the middle.

Replacing the CDB is just one of many troubleshooting steps, it is not the end all to this.

The 3102 code you encountered has nothing to do with temperature and humidity. It is a code related to the failure of the fuser conveyance. Gamma correction is also unrelated because gamma correction is image related, not conveyance related.

I highly suspect that you are encountering this code because of some kind of failure related to the fusing unit itself, again related to the movement of the fuser, which usually is in motion during many test modes of the main body components. Check all the connectors to ensure they are seated properly. The previous document relates to what to check and replace related specifically to fuser pressure roller.

We do not leave fusers at the customers either. We have spares at the shop that we rebuild during slow periods. This is simply our own initiative, not the norm, and is also a part of our troubleshooting regarding fusing unit related errors that are not so obvious...it is part of the elimination process, as some fuser related codes can be caused in other areas, such as the CDB, a bad conveyance clutch or motor or simply timing adjustments that are out of the normal range.


PROBABLE CAUSES:
1.One of the gears in the fusing unit gearboxfails. The shaft for fusing unit gear/H has been changed so that it is now supported at both ends instead of just
one end. The gear is now made of a stronger material.
The new design has been incorporated into all bizhub PRO C6500 machines beginning with s/n A03U0000787. A replacement gearbox is available for
machines with lower serial numbers. For the machines with serial numbers between A03U010000788 and A03U010001446 the fuser gearbox is already
updated and only fusing gear /H (p/n A03U808811) needs to be replaced.

2. The machine cannot determine the separation cam home position.
Check the following items PS16 (p/n 08AA 8551 2) and Release Actuator flag (p/n A03U 7244 00). Make sure when the fuser jam release green knob is
turned counterclockwise, the Release Actuator flag (p/n A03U 7244 00) blocks and unblocks PS16/PS17. Check to see if the sensor is disconnected. If
turning the Fuser Jam removal Knob does not change the position of the Release Actuator flag, then check the drive gears associated withM30 (p/n 27LA
8003 0) for broken or stripped drive gears andreplace them if damaged.
3. A one-way gear (p/n A03U 8093 00) is slipping in the fixing drive assembly.
Replace the (3) fixing drive gears with the modifiedFixing Drive Gear/M 22T (p/n A03U 8093 11) andthe fixing drive shaft/A (p/n A03U725800).

4. Failed fixing limiter.
Replace fixing limiter (p/n 65AA53651).
5. Failed ICP14 on Conveyance Drive Board
Replace Conveyance Drive Board (p/n A03U H050 04).

That error is related to a bed reading in a sensor of the Development Unit, called "TD sensor".
You can try to take of the development unit and see if there is dust of toner or even if the plug is broken (i saw that happens sametimes).
The development unit is placed under the PCU.
Open the front door and you will se it.
If you can not see nothing abnormal like dust or broken plug i advise you to call your provider to change the TD sensor or the development unit.

How do I remove the development unit of my Nashuatec Aficio MP1600..since I want to replace it with a new one..This has been caused by the machine printing dark copies..please advice


Development unit (actually Photo Conductor Unit- PCU) contents lots of spare parts and there is NO NEED of replacement at all.
First you have to clean the optical system and exposure glass( from inside). Mark that preventive maintenance of this unit is per 60000 pages. Then you have to replace DEVELOPER, DRUM and CLEANING BLADE. I can tell you that the DRUM last for about a 90000pages or more (OEM), developer can run for 150000 pages without replacement.
Open the front cover, then pull out toner sledge (lift front end a little and then pull the sledge outside gently). Open wright cover. Now you can pull out PCU (press with two fingers down front edge).
Disassembling is easy if you have screwdriver (model PH2). Below the drum you will see that there maybe is lots of dust, so you have to clean gently with vacuum cleaner.
...sorry. I think that you have to call technical support, because maybe it is dangerous not to harm any parts of the machine(not cheep machine at all).
For me this operation is for 10 minutes but I have many years lenght of service and thousand of machine like this one

There is no listing for this particular code for the 450 model. Every other model that uses this code indicates the development drive train is locked up. This refers to the assembly immediately below the photoconductor unit (contains the green drum).

This can be either the motor or gear/drive train at the rear of the machine is locked up with a bad/weak motor or gear train is worn out. The other possibility would be for the development unit is seized up or nearly so. This is the more likely problem. The bushings and shafts ultimately get worn down or bound up with the toner/developer. You can try disassembly and cleaning. Just be prepared for a messy job. Be sure to save all of the developer mixture and put it all back in when you reassemble it. Otherwise, you will need to replace it with developer (not toner) and recalibrate the machine.

Change the developer in afficio 450


To remove the Dev. unit.
1. Open the right upper cover and front cover.
2. PCU. (☛ 3.11.1)
NOTE: Spread paper on a clean flat surface that is free of pins, paper clips,
staples, screws or any other metal objects.
3. Loosen [A] (! x1)
4. Rotate bracket [B] left.
5. Development unit [C]
NOTE: Pull slowly to avoid scratching or nicking the development roller.
6. Set the development unit on the spread paper.
7. If you are temporarily installing a used development unit for test purposes,
perform SP2-220 and 2-802-1 after installation (☛ Chapter 5, “Service Tables)

Replacing the Dev. material.
1. Development unit (☛ 3.12.1)
2. Remove the development roller (☛ 3.12.3)
3. Empty toner [A]
4. Turn drive gear [B] to ensure that no developer remains in the unit or on the
developer roller.
NOTE: Dispose of the used developer in accordance with local regulations.
Work carefully to avoid scratching or nicking the development roller.
5. Pour approximately 1/3 of the developer [C] evenly along the length of the
development unit.
6. Rotate the drive gear [D] to work the developer into the unit. Repeat [C] and [D]
until all toner is in the unit and level with the edges.
7. Reassemble the development unit
8. Cover the toner entrance hole [A] with a piece of paper.
9. Install the development unit in the machine.
10. Turn on the main power switch, make sure that the machine has warmed up,
then perform the TD sensor initial setting using SP 2-801.
NOTE: When performing this setting, cover the toner entrance hole with a
piece of paper. This prevents used toner falling from the PCU into the
development unit during the TD sensor initial setting and interfering
with the Vref setting (toner density reference voltage).
11. After performing the TD sensor initial setting, remove the sheet [A] from the development unit.

This is how you replace and reset (calibrate) the new Dev. material.

Ricoh CL 7000 error code SC 387


This Code relates to color gamma error in the Yellow development. Possible causes Low toner density in the Y toner,Toner supply Y mechanism problem( not supplying enough toner),Laser exposure problem, image transfer problem. My suggestion would be to ensure you have toner in the cartridge( but by this time it has depleted the developer), and you will need to replace the development unit and possibly the drum Unit. My best guess would be the development Unit.
