Grundig Sattelit 800 radio-batt blinks w/new Duracell Alkakines from Costco(so they are fresh; good till 2024)

I have talked to the gentleman who designed this radio and he said that in order to correct this problem two pins on the inside of the front panel must be shorted while 6.2 volts dc is fed to the battery terminals. The whole radio must be disassembled to reach these pins, I have not been able to find a service manual to help me locate said pins. If anyone out there can find out where to get a service manual please contact majik2387@aol.com

I have a dc011 radio and it has no sound. i have checked the 2 fuses and they are good. the power comes on but no sound. Oh and i also have put in the 2 aa bat. what is my next step????? any info will be...

I had this problem recently. If you take off the front of the radio (don't forget 2 screws in back!) you will notice a set of black and red wires running from the 2 AA backup batteries to the digital display circuit board. The wires plug into the board with a little white plug. If you unplug this the display will fade to nothing. If you plug it back in it will display an unset digital clock format. This seems to reset the radio or something. And then it works.

Face does not give display, radio works well , radio operates normal but will not display , changed both fuses but didn't help

Liquid damage to faceplate PCB is most common cause. Contact Iron Cross Audio for repair options. www.ironcrossaudio.com

How many fuses are there in the radio and where are they located. i could only find one and it still looks good.

There should be 1 fuse at the back of the radio and 1 in the fuse box under the dash somewhere

Radio works on ac power but not on batt power

"Radio works on ac power but not on batt power AA batt seams to be ok" The AA battery is only for the radio memory and clock. Have you put a battery from your drill in the radio? if so check fuse inside radio.

The radio is not working on the Dewalt Radio/Charger. I am not sure what the problem is. It was working one day, then the next it wasn't.

Replace the AA batteries they are located inside the battery chager. these batts. control the radio and memory stations.

Display / Clock display not working

SONY MHC-EX50

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Radio: ST-EX100
Amp: TA-EX50
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Symptome=Tuner-Display zeigt nichts an, sonst Tuner OK.
Defekt=C161 und C162 (100µF,35 V) auf der Tunerplatine ersetzen.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Radio not working

Have you tried changing the AA Batteries, sounds simple, but a lot of people forget to try this. When they go flat, they lock the radio out and nothing will work. HHM Dewalt Agent
