Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
I have the same problem with the waste tank message. I read all the answers on how to reset so the error message dosent pop up all the time and they work. But I didnt see where anyone told how to clean it. On the left side of the printer where the cartridges sit when the printer is not in use is where the overflow of ink is. I used kleenex and pushed the bracket over and stuffed them under the bracket and found loads of ink in the bottom left side of the printer. I took out the little filter screens that the cartridges sit on and cleaned them. There was ink everywhere. I used Qtips, Kleenex, wipes and alcohol to get all the ink out. Needless to say I was covered with ink. Then did the steps to reset it. Just resetting isnt solving the problem.
