MEdia Net problem

I just got a new razor today but I'm already having a problem with the internet. When I click on media net, or enter any url, my razor is unable to connect and then gives me the message "Network Problem. You tried to access the address which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page." If anyone has some pointers that would be great, thanks in advance. Can Not Connect To Web Displays "Web Address URL Is Unavailable" Why?

Hi,

Install dotnetFX 4 from microsoft website

Install windows media player 11, windows media format runtime 11 (installed automatically with media player).

Download and install Kies_1.5.3.10092_2_1 or Kies_1.5.3.10103_102 from samsung website and update it

Restart PC

Connect GT S5620, wait for the device to appear.

Now in tethering click New GT S5620_(Other) should appear

choose country - India,
Choose network provider - cellone,

APN - bsnlnet and phone number - *99**1*1# appears automatically.

Now connect on internet connect / disconnect button and wait.

should connect automatically and say "internet is now connected"

Then what for U are waiting, open a browser and enjoy browsing.

Now u can also create a dialer under network connections and connect with your mobile to the net

and atlast Don't forget to choose an appropriate data plan with BSNL.

Shows the media net icon when im not useing media net

Which media net icon? The media net icon in your menu or the one on the top status bar? Do you have a data or media net plan with AT&T? It probably is showing this just because it is telling you that your data connection is active. You can remove the WAP settings if you would like, that will turn this off.

If you want to try to remove the profile, try this:

Press “Menu” to enter main menu and according the following step to select “Settings” -> “Connectivity” -> “Network” -> “Network Profile” ->“Data connections” -> any profile to be edited -> Press “Options” key -> and delete the profile

Xenon has a forbidden sign with internet attempts. and media mall access attempts result in a comment regarding parental controls. how do we fix it? SIM Card swapped with no change in results, technical...

Well i have the lg xenon and from what i have figured out is first go to the media net home page. Then go to customize media net. (which is at the bottom) Next click on parental controls. Then enter your PIN code in the space provided and it should let you change your settings. The setting you need to change is to change the Content Filter off and it should work. Hope this helps!1 (:

You have to enable the Wap on your sim card, this you do by phoning your Service provider and asking them to enable it for you, if you already did this, you have to get the Wap Setting from them for your specific phone, this differs from phone to phone Hope this helps you Regards

Can you turn off the Media Net and Cingular Video buttons on LG phone

YES. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CALL CINGULAR CUSTOME SERVICE. 1-800-331-0500 AND HAVE THEM BLOCK THE INTERNET FROM YOUR PHONE. THEN WHEN YOU GIT THE BUTTON...IT WILL NOT TAKE YOU TO THE MEDIA NET.
