Ge washer overflowing/not rinsing or wringing well

My ge top load washer is seven years old. About a year ago it started leaking from "somewhere" in auto soak mode. We stoped using auto soak and no problems till now. It is leaking out of the bottom of the overflow tube and is not rinsing suds out of the tub or wringing the water out of the clothes that well. I am glad to find this sight and hope you can help soon. If I dont get this fixxed soon I'll have to buy a new machine. I sure would rather order parts from some that can tell me what I need. thanks for your help

It's GE washing machine top load bought about five or six years ago.

It spins but not rinse the water out of the load area and out of the machine. What could be the problem with this?

    Thank you so much

How old is my washer? When were these made?

You need a serial number to tell for sure.
They probably stopped making those a few years ago.
And the oldest one I've seen it about 10 years old. So probably between 2-10 years old.
