Question about Panasonic PDAs

1 Answer

I have an old hand held Panasonic Cassette Recorder/player. Model No. RQ-2107 that my granddaughter uses to play old cassettes that read along with books. It suddenly just stopped working. I put in new batteries. When you push the play button you can hear a humming sound but it will not move the tape. Do you have any suggestions? Or do you know of someone in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul, MN that I could take it to for them to look at it? Thank you, Niecie

Try turning the phone off and removing the battery for 30 seconds. This should do a soft reset to the phone and hopefully clear up the problem. My phone does the same thing from time to time, most the time it's just a glitch.

I forgot the password for mine, how can i get around this to cancel or even change the passwprd?

Hi,
If you have forgotten your password you should be able to use the password hint to figure out what it is. You can try a soft reset to see if that will clear the password but I am pretty sure this won't help. To do a soft reset use the tip of the stylus or something pointed like a paper clip and inset it in the hole on the back of your palm pilot. This will make the unit reset it's self. If this doesn't help then you must preform a Hard rest to continuing using your hand held. You need to make sure that you have all your information backed up on your computer as a hard reset will erase everything on your hand held. Here are the steps to do a hard reset:

1. Press and hold the power button.

2. While holding the power button, use the tip of the stylus ( or a similar object without a sharp tip) to gently press and release the reset button inside the hole on the back of your hand held.

3. Wait for the Palm Powered logo to appear, and then release the power button.

4. When you see the message that warns you about erasing all of the info on your hand held do one of the following:
a) Press UP on the 5 way navigator button on the bottom of your hand held to finish the reset and show the touch screen.
b) Press any other button to do a soft reset.

5. When prompted , tap to align the screen, and then set the language you want to use on your hand held. A screen appears showing the Palm logo and a progress bar. From there continue to set up your Palm and then do a hot sync. You should be able to reset a password if you want one. Best wishes....Hope this helps.

I have been using my camcorder ELURA 100 for years. Now the cassette refuses to eject. The screen keeps asking to "remove the cassette". Please help !!!!!! Thanks. T.S.Wu My phone -...

If you can get the tape out of there, you should run a tape cleaner in the unit. If you can't remove the tape, you should take it to a camera store or Best Buy to get it removed professionally then clean the tape heads.

Canon mv800i fault

OK after searching the net to fix this problem and no one having the answer I decided to fix it my self.
My Canon MV 800i cam had the same fault to I took it to bits. Inside there’s the cams main board that has loads of ribbon cable connecting on to it from its bits like lens, power supply, viewfinder , cassette deek. I unplugged all of these and removed its main board and cleaned all the ribbon cables connecting end with isopropyl alcohol, you can use most electrical cleaners should do the some trick. Then just reassembled the cam and tested all fixed
Give that a go and see how you get on

Mitac Mio 168 sound - adapter 2.5 to 3.5 mm jack

Hi,
I believe there is something wrong, its a normal stereo socket.
I use differend 3.5 to 2.5 adapter (standard, from the shelf)without any problem to connect an FM Stereo-Transmitter.
The best solution to connect your car radio, its wireless.
