It's pretty easy. In your iPAQ 214 go on SETTINGS > GPS > and make sure the INCOMING CONNECTIONS are on CHANNEL 6, and for the OUTGOING CONNECTIONS are on CHANNEL 5. Start the external GPS device, start your Bluetooth connection on your iPAQ and you're ready to go.
I'm having the same problem for the last 2 weeks, i left my receiver in the car all day and since then it flashes once on startup and that's it, any suggestion how to reset the unit? Thanks
The ipaq requires a GPRS connection to download and refresh its GPS files every 2 days. Check the GPS symbol at the bottom right corner of the screen. It has to be blue. If it is grey, the GPS files need to be refreshed. Hp recommends MapAsia and it works, though the landmarks are not correct. The roads are ok. I do not know about diginav.

As an update I have contacted hp Warranty Support via phone and we determined that all the criteria was made to have the hx2755 returned to have diagnostics performed and repair if needed..
All my computers and periphery are HP as I have full confidence in the product line.
I think you should contact the company that makes the GPS and ask them if their software (drivers) will work with the Pocket PC you have and the operating system it runs.
